At this weekend’s bridal expo at the Big E fairgrounds in West Springfield I set up my photobooth that went over really well with attendees. Because of this booth’s open style we were able to get a lot of people at once in this booth that was truly unique among all the other box-style photobooths at the show. A lot of people have already contacted me about using it at their wedding which is really exciting. Erica and Mike have the distinction of having their wedding the night the nor’easter came through Western Massachusetts. The snow came down steadily all day and as the night went on the lights flickered and finally went out. Thankfully I run on batteries so the lack of power didn’t affect me at all. In fact my photobooth became the star attraction when the lights and music went out.

With all that happening Erica and Mike still had a great time, and it shows in the photos.

Melanie and Jason were recently married on a beautiful fall day surrounded by friends and family. I started my coverage of the day with a special portrait of Jason, his groomsmen, and other family members that the Delaney House graciously provided the location for. I then made my way to the hotel to cover Melanie getting ready for the day with the assistance of her bridesmaids.

We spent the remainder of the day, including the ceremony and reception, at the Log Cabin where there was no shortage of dancing and colorful scenery, and I had the opportunity to photograph the most amazing pair of shoes I’ve ever seen.

My second photographer for the day was the talented Lesley Arak.

I’m not quite sure what was going on here, but Jason seemed pretty surprised by it.

The uplighting during the reception was amazing, giving the room a festive atmosphere.

Pam and Matt had a wonderful wedding at the Hampden Country Club recently. While the rain moved the ceremony inside, it stopped in time for us to make some nice family photos on the grounds. While Matt and the guys got ready off site, Pam and her bridesmaids finished getting ready at the facility. After the ceremony where a few tears were shed, the party got into full swing.

Leann and Larry had beautiful weather for their outdoor wedding at Wickham Park in Manchester, CT recently. I spent some time with Leann at Shampoo One in East Hartford while she had her hair and makeup done, after which we traveled to the hotel where she got ready for the ceremony. Larry and the guys were just down the hall and got ready pretty quickly, and we all met up later on at the park for the ceremony and reception.
