Tracey and Paul had a truly unique and beautiful ceremony recently which I was honored to have documented. I started the day photographing Tracey getting ready, first at a friend’s house and then at the Garden House at Look Park in Florence, MA. Their ceremony was held outside at Look Park’s sanctuary before the heat of the day really took hold, and after a romantic walk through the park the celebration continued back at the Garden House. Here are some photos from throughout their day…
- Tracey arriving at her friend’s house in Florence to get ready for the big day.
- Tiny flowers were cut on the spot and placed carefully into Tracey’s hair.
- One of the little ones peeking around the corner to get a better look at the goings-on.
- Mom, sisters and friends gathered around closely for a final inspection of the hair.
- Putting on the dress with some help from Mom at the Garden House at Look Park in Florence.
- Paul and Tracey scheduled time before the ceremony to be alone for a few minutes away from the crowd.
- The couple spending some time (almost) alone.
- Paul waiting for his cue that the ceremony was about to begin, with his father behind him.
- I wasn’t exactly sure what she was shhhh-ing.
- I loved the way Paul and Tracey looked at one another as the ceremony went on.
- An overall view of the ceremony. It was sunny and getting hot, so guests had access to decorative umbrellas to help them out with some improvised shade.
- I couldn’t hear what was said, but Tracey found it pretty funny.
- Under the chuppah, Paul and Tracey exchanged their vows.
- After the ceremony, Tracey and Paul walked through Look Park before joining back up with guests for the reception.
- A Quick Portrait.
- We had some company on the path as we neared the Garden House.
- Paul and Tracey’s first dance.
- The crowd danced wildly in celebration.
- Tracey was smiling throughout the reception.
- More celebratory dancing!
- Checking out the cake, which was made by friends, before it was served.
- A few details from throughout the day.
- Prior to the wedding day, Tracey and Paul had sent fabric squares to guests inviting them to write or draw on them, which they then turned into their chuppa. It was later displayed on the wall throughout the reception.
- Everyone danced around Tracey’s parents in a circle.
- One last cuddle on the dance floor at the recpeption’s end.
